Peacemaker Soundproofing Underlayment is designed to be installed beneath a finished flooring to act as a shock absorber, reducing the amount of vibration capable of traveling through a structure. Using Peacemaker underneath a flooring will help to reduce footfall and impact noise traveling between floors.

Peacemaker is an environmentally-friendly material, composed of almost entirely recycled tire rubber. Peacemaker is also available in a 3.2mm thickness. However, these thicknesses are not intended to perform in the same manner as our 6.4mm Peacemaker. Our 6.4mm Peacemaker is a much less dense product, allowing it to absorb vibrations effectively. Our 3.2mm Peacemaker thicknesses are denser than our 6.4mm, meaning they will not absorb vibration in the same manner as our 6.4mm, but will block airborne sound much more effectively.
