hello again everyone from Tokyo Japan and welcome back to Japan vintage camera where today I'm going to be talking about one of my all-time favorite film cameras and that is the Nikon F II the Nikon F II was introduced around 1979 with its a sister camera that FM and it was designed to appeal to serious amateur photographers and consumers which were attracted to the Nikon name Nikon at the time was it the pinnacle of its success as a camera manufacturer and it was the top producer of cameras for shooting pros around the world and a lot of amateurs and consumers were drawn to Nikon because of their reputation as a maker of professional cameras the Nikon F II was an evolution of the earlier Nick Ramat series and very much improved it has the same basic lines as an earlier cameras but it was made more compact and lighter in weight the sharp edges were rounded off and a number of technical
