when I'm out walking around with my camera for any length of time I use the blackrapid strap it takes the camera's weight off my neck and gives me fast access so I don't miss a shot it also allows me to much more comfortably carry around my a Nikon 70 to 200 f28 it took me a while before I finally bought the blackrapid strap because I use a really rite stuff ball head on my tripod and I never like to take my L bracket off my camera's tripod socket the really right stuff system uses an acro swiss-style bracket attached to the camera's tripod socket that locks on to a clamp on the ball head I don't want to be taking that on and off and risk loosening it or shredding the camera screw socket someday like everything in photography I'm not the only one with this problem the solution was simple really right stuff sells a 38 millimeter clamp with a threaded socket for $60 I screwed it to the ca
