well hello there I recently posted this rendering on Instagram and I got quite a few questions on how I created the Spiga mesh with the subtle indentation of the grille beneath it and here's how in he shot I have opened up the graph of the Spiga mesh material you can use any fabric material as a base you can check out my Google daydream material study to see how to do it using procedurals or you can use pre-made textures from places like polygon that come like I have done here you can check out the how to use polygon Maps tutorial for tips on how to set that up to create the appearance of the grille beneath the mesh right-click the bump map connection and add in a bump add note right click and add a mesh texture hit C on the keyboard to preview the texture change the shape to hexagon select hexagonal as the mesh pattern give the texture a bit of fall off and adjust pattern spacing and s
