all right this is a test and functional demonstration for a bose lifestyle 18 we've got the simple fir base module down here and then we've got just one satellite speaker cooked up but we do have four other ones over here that all work we're going to first take a look at the receiver unit itself we've got a dis audio disc popped in here we're going to check the CD player on the unit and so you can see here when we put a disc in here it says no disc even though we've put a disc in there so we're going to put a different disc in there just to make sure it's not just that disc we've got another disc and pop it in and we'll see what it says reading no discs again so clearly something in the disc mechanism here doesn't work just for kicks we'll put a DVD in there as well to see if it's CDs only we do these two and there's a DVD in there now this is reading no discs so something is definitely
