today we're taking the stereo out of a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado today this is the single CD player we see in the shop quite often for clicking not ejecting not playing CDs and is something we take care of regularly we've also seen this model be a six CD changer which requires repair as many times as well but for the changer if it's a jammed or not accepting or rejecting CDs for you we'd suggest disconnecting one of the battery terminals for about five or ten minutes and hooking it back up if there is a glitch in the communication this can straighten it out and reset the changer at the same time this stereo is a VIN lopped radio which means it works only in this vehicle the if you replace this with another factory radio the dealership will have to program the radio to work with the computer in the vehicle in order to operate properly in the car so let's get started with removal we're goin
