About Carbon Monoxide
1. The most common sources of CO are malfunctioning gas appliance used for heating and cooking ,vehicles running in an attached garage,
blocked chimneys or flues, portable fuel burning heaters, fireplaces, fuel powered tools and operating a grill in an enclosed space.
2. Indications of carbon monoxide poisoning include symptoms similar to the flu, but with no fever.
Other symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, headache, nausea, vomiting, sleepiness and confusion.

Requires no rewiring; easy to mount on any wall or ceiling with the included mounting bracket, screws and anchor plugs
Test the unit
To test the unit, press and hold the TEST/RESET button about 0.5 seconds then release to enable the TEST/RESET button, you should hear alarm sound pattern and with a corresponding red LED flash.
NOTE:
1. After the TEST/RESET button is pressed, the alarm sounds and the red alarm light flashes. This does not indicate that carbon monoxide is present.
2. Due to the loudness of the alarm, we suggest that you place your fingers over the sounder opening while testing your alarm.
About error alarm
Low battery voltage warning
The red LED flashes and the horn also chrips twice every 35 seconds. It indicates the battery is low. You need to replace the battery.
End of life warning
The red LED flashes and the horn also chrips 3 times every 35 seconds. It indicates end of life of co alarm .You need to replace the co alarm.
CAVEAT! Use only the specified battery. Using a different battery may adversely affect the CO alarm
