Hey, this Scott of Photography Banzai. Today I'm taking a look at this
Fotasy FD to Nikon Z adapter. That means you can adapt Canon
FD lenses onto the Z mount. Pretty simple adapter. Build quality is
nice, all metal.. good machining on there. There's no rough edges or anything like that. On the top for the FD mount, locking mechanism
and there that moves this little pin inside. For the barrel and the Z mount itself that
is one solid piece of metal, which is nice. Attaching FD mount lenses can
be a little bit challenging. Make sure this ring on the FD
mount lens is locked in place. You've got a little orange dot in this case. Same
for the adapter. I'm gonna push these into attach. You can see that moved a little bit.
Rotate that all the way on the lens. Set it to open on the mount
adapter. It's good to go! Attaching it to the Z mount is very
easy. In this case I have Nikon Z5.
