hi this is mark from show me cables and today we're going to learn how to terminate a pendant mini-com cat5e jack here are the materials I'm going to need for my installation I have my cat 5e cable my pen wit mini count jack technician scissors cable stripper and the IDI JT Panduit termination tool taking my cable stripper I'm going to remove the jacket I can simply rotate it and I'll pull right off then I'm going to remove rip cord you can use the rip cord to peel back the jacket but we've already used a stripper you'll notice that there are four pairs and they are color-coded I'm going to insert my pairs into the back of the guide on top of the guide there is a color code to instruct you on which way to insert the pairs we are following the 5 6 8 B color code which tells us where to insert each color calf IV cable is comprised of 4 pairs each pair is color-coded orange orange white gr
