hi welcome to a video on installing a t1 interface card in a 2811 router my name is Joe Sullivan I'm taking you through a video on how to verify that your t1 card is working in the router we're going to connect two devices together using the t1 card and establish the channels and channel allocation so first off you need a t1 card in this case I'm using a WIC one DSU t1 version 2 card this is going to work in a 2011 series despite Cisco's context here they've also upped it to 1 2011 router next thing I need is a crossover cable 41 it's a thicker gauge cable but just a little bit whatever is 23 gauge probably or 22 gauge what's a crossover slip announcer difference not your standard crossover cable I'm sure there's plenty of spots in Google if you want to build your own or buy one typically the one I one I have forward is a shielded cable so it has a metal end point on it and let you conn
