okay let's look at some compression fittings these work a little bit differently than crimps so what we're going to do is apply pressure and push this forward and capture the cable so that it's a nice firm connection so these are compression fittings we're going to try one BNC compression fitting and then we also have an RCA compression fitting we'll try both today okay the first step is to strip the cable we've inserted the cable into our stripping tool we'll give it a spin make sure it tears through all that shield we can feel a tearing remove it let's see what we have there's our Center conductor and there's our shield it just makes two cuts on this one let's fold it back and again we want to make sure that there is no shield conductor wrapped around the center conductor okay now we've got our cable stripped our shield is folded back properly now let's fit on the connector so the cen
