what's that everybody I'm random Frank P say we've a review of the Sound Blaster x7 DAC in amp yes this crazy-looking thing paired with the EMU xm7 bookshelf speakers now there's gonna be two aspects interview one being my usage with headphones the other being with these speakers right here but for now let's just take a look around both products the x7 is admittedly very strange-looking in terms of its shape it's made of from plastic with a nice matte black finish and some nice gold accents throughout you'll notice the huge volume dial on the front which unfortunately does not have a volume level indicator below the volume button is actually a microphone there quote crystal voice technology's supposed to focus on your vocals clearly you know for a gaming chat or phone calls but I really didn't test it or even use it because I have a real microphone but it's a nice addition for people wh
