Hey I'm JR, training manager here at
Crutchfield, and this is the Yamaha CD-S300. It is a single-disc cd player made
to hook up to your stereo receiver, your home theater receiver,
powered speakers, whatever audio system you have. Plug this
in so that you can play all those old CDs you haven't gotten out of the box
out of the basement in such a long time. And play those CDs well it will. It has a
great CD mechanism and a Burr-Brown D-to-A converter that will
do a wonderful job of converting all those digital bits on the CD
into beautiful analog music coming out these audio outputs on the back.
If you were to look inside the CD player, you would see a
very well laid out board with all of these components
set up in such a way that the signal path of the music as it goes from the cd
to those outputs is as short as possible and as
