[Music] all right today's video is all about the joystick controller the first thing I want to go over are the different ways of connecting this controller as you can see here on the back of the unit there's a couple options we've got a power port an rs-232 port the three connected monitors there is an Ethernet cable port we've got an rs-422 and rs-485 bus mainly you'll use those for older systems basically you would already have to have a PTZ that uses that type of connection so if you do have one of those PT Z's then give us a call and we'll be happy to have to run you through the setup but the video here is just going to go over the most common connection which is this Ethernet port connection here so I'm going to get one ethernet cable connected to my router the same router that the DVR is connected to and I'm going to power this joystick on and run you through the setup so while it
