Dc Buck Converter,900W Power Advanced Microprocessor Adjust Output Voltage and Current

morning all and today I'm going to be looking at this it's a DC to DC converter a buck regulator and it is the minke model B 3008 now 308 means that the maximum output voltage is 30 volts and the maximum output current is 8 amps and this is one of a family of DC to DC converters made by Ming he now they're all digitally controlled DC to DC converters they have a little numeric indicator and a set of push buttons this little one is up to 36 volts 3 amps this as I say is 30 volts up to 8 amps and this one is a boost converter so this steps the voltage coming in up it can put out up to 80 volts and also up to 10 amps now this isn't a review of this DC to DC converter but what I want to do is show the way that this can be both a voltage regulator and a current regulator at the same time and how does it achieve that so now I'm going to plug in the only supply of power that I have on my bench
