hey youtube um we're going to be upgrading a dell r730xd from a perk 730 to a 730p here is the raid controller as you can see and these pretty much clip in right into the raid socket and we will do a how-to video on how to remove it so once the cover is off for the r730 take off a few uh pci risers shroud and then we have the perk 730 and we're going to replace it with the 730p this one has two gigabytes of envy cache versus this one is one gigabyte and by replacing it you undo these two screws and gently you will need to take apart there we go and slowly you move and wiggle out this cable trying to do this with one hand is a little entertaining there we go so this old one's out the cable to the side there we go so here's a 730p they look identical only difference is memory capacity for the nv cache there we go move that around and as you can see it has a gold connect conductor which th
