hi I'm Alistair and I make playful technology products and the kind of electronic games that you might find in an escape room or something like that now one of the most popular videos I've made in the past used RFID to detect a sequence of objects that have to be placed in the right positions and this is a very common sort of puzzle that you might find an escape room so you have a number of props and on each of those props you have an RFID tag so the same technology that you might find in a smart card like this and then you have a number of RFID sensors which might be positioned on a mantelpiece or a cabinet or display shelf or something like that and when the right object with the tag embedded in it is placed in front of the correct sensor the puzzle is solved and something happens so what I'd like to do in this video is to kind of revisit that old project and update it a little bit pa
