hey there youtube welcome back to another ham radio video today we will be looking at the receive capabilities of five different ht antennas to do this i will be using my yaesu ft-4x for the incoming signal i will be using the factory programmed noaa weather stations i will first try channel 1 as the radio defaults to that when first powered on with the weather frequencies selected i will then switch over to channel 6 which is the local noaa station for my area we will then look at the s meter to see how well the radio receives with each antenna let's get started in the lower 70s southeast winds 10 to 15 miles an hour with just just winds 5 to 10 miles an hour once again the forecast for rest of today it was mostly sunny at wisconsin rapids it was partly sunny southeast winds five to ten miles an hour taking a look at the fourth or seventy southeast winds 5 to 10 miles an hour chance of
