DigiScribe PC Transcription Kit: Foot Pedal, Headset and Software

Hi there. This is just a quick video to discuss a piece of equipment that many transcribers use, and we call it a foot pedal. We use the foot pedal in order to control the audio playing on our computer. Now, some transcribers actually use hotkeys to do that. However, I prefer using a food pedal so that my hands are free to just do the actual transcription. The foot pedal I use is from Infinity. The model is IN-USB-1. It weighs about 2 pounds. It's about 7.5 inches by about 5.5 inches. It comes with a pretty long cord. It's about 7 feet, maybe a little longer than 7 feet. One thing I would definitely point out is this one is a USB connection. And especially if you're buying one used, pay attention to the connection. You want to make sure that it's USB or some type of connection that will fit into your computer. If it's an older connection type, you might have t
