[Music] in the fox and hound one todd's childhood personality is cocky sly energetic and very playful as he grows older although he's definitely matured enough to have more self-control and be less spontaneous he still retains that optimism and innocence from his childhood something that is repeatedly tested as unfortunate events keep happening to him therefore not a lot of character change can happen in the second movie as todd's personality mostly stays the same from child to adulthood which is why i really appreciate this movie doesn't really try to evolve his character too early instead this movie acts as a way of further characterizing personality that we were already acquainted to although very briefly in the first movie from the moment we meet todd those same attributes of energetic mischievousness are displayed through his willingness to constantly be active and his lighthearted
