Double Ball Head Mount Monitor Stand (Brass Screw)

so I picked up these little Chinese swivel head mounts for a project I'm building I want to build and give away some easy stick magnetic mounts serious case you get what you pay for the things don't lock into place and when you pull out the set screws you can see well you won't be able to you can kind of see why and they pulled the rest way apart in a nutshell the thumb screw is drilled too high so whereas a thumb screw should come in and bite here on the wedge it doesn't it bites right there okay well that forces it to cross that flat bit before it can even start wedging it basically means most of the time it doesn't it doesn't do anything and the mount never tightens up you also have to over tighten the thumbscrews and this is some pretty poorly mean machine stuff so they're just gonna strip out but it is a simple enough fix all you need is a long enough that's about a two inch machin
