so I had a fairly big issue last night my Sony a7 3 would not be recognized by my PC I've tried the basic stuff that usually works restarting the computer or doing the updates or just changing ports even changing wire wires USB wires nothing was working I went on the Sony website here for the this troubleshooting when the computer doesn't recognize the USB connection and this really wasn't helpful they just give you basic stuff that I either tried or that are not related such as saying that you have to start the play memories software which I've never used I don't use it I've never used it since I got the camera last year and so I really had a hard time finding what the issue was and then after a few hours of really trying to tweak stuff I found that the USB connection here was on mass storage which prevented the the camera from connecting to the PC how it got there I don't know but pro
