hi this is bobby hester on behalf of expertvillage.com in this next clip we're going to demonstrate how to clean the laser lens on a dvd or cd player over time dust can collect on the lens and and cause the player to not uh play at its optimum potential or not play at all uh it'll tend to skip a lot and uh when it reaches that point it needs to be cleaned uh you can purchase a a cleaning disc at any electronics store there's several brands out there but they all work pretty much the same this particular model you'll see that it has two little brushes on the back side of the dvd or cd and those brushes spin and actually clean the the laser lens so what we want to do is there's an arrow that points in the direction that you need to place the dvd in place it in there close it and allow it to read and after a few seconds you'll hit play and it'll start to play the play the disc it should st
