generally you don't want to call a subwoofer cute you want your subwoofer to be burly and manly but the paradigm monitor ate sub definitely is that's a cute little package but once you look at what's under the hood and unleash its power it turns out it's an absolute monster so the first thing you want to know about this thing is that it is deceivingly heavy this is basically like a ten and a half inch cube but it weighs 25 pounds it's just really dense and when you pick it up you know you're dealing with something serious this driver as well though it has a really funky looking surround this isn't just for looks it's very functional this driver is very rigid and it's in a sealed cabinet so you're wondering how is it going to move a ton of air it's got a 900 watt peak amplifier with a 300 watt RMS so it has absolutely no problem moving a ton of air in your room this thing gets far deeper
