hey it's Marco here with my mess la model s today I'm talking about recharging with a hundred and twenty bolts versus other avenues of recharging your Model S obviously there's quite a few out there but today I've been talking about the 120 volt option so my model s is plugged into a NEMA 5 20 out let the reason I have a NEMA 5 xx let it's an electrical code where I live in British Columbia Canada to have a NEMA 5 20 in every single a new garage being built to ask her Electrical Code I also have below that NEMA 520 I have a NEMA 515 enough trying both in terms of charging my Model S with the NEMA 515 you got about 4 km/h with the NEMA 520 you get about 8 km/h so even though there's only about a 25% difference and the amperage you get almost double the recharge rate the NEMA 520 so why is that that's because there's an underlying amount of power that goes to powering the computer systems
