so here's what it comes with comes with the light itself and this nice little storage case with a zippered closure goes all the way around keeps it protected this is the unit itself the on the one side you've got the lens that you look through you have a 5x optical lens right there which is the more powerful lens 5x then you have the main lens which is 2.5 X and then on the flip side you have the 12 LEDs in the ring to eliminate whatever you're looking at there's a side switch right here that you turn on when you first turn it on you get half the LEDs then you click it again you get all the LEDs and then third time it's off now the way this works is the battery is get put into the base of the unit right here and it takes two double-a batteries and you put the negative facing down and then you put it back at spring-loaded and you rotate this to the threads engage and you retighten it now
