scanning my negatives is an important part of my film photography process this video is meant to give you an insight on the decisions i made with regards to my process on scanning my negatives and it all started out with a very important question and that is what am i going to be using these scans for and that answer was easy for me because probably more than 95 of my scans i use to incorporate in my youtube videos and as a true photography minimalist i chose to keep on using my good old reliable epsilon perfection 3170 flatbed scanner i've had the scanner probably for around 17 years and i recently purchased a second scanner online as a backup it has a maximum resolution of 3200 dpi and it scans both 35 millimeter and medium format up to 6x9 so for the purpose of my scans this scanner works absolutely fine if i have an assignment or if i want to make a print i always have two options i
