Description
The Etherstretch Model EL1500C IP Cameras over Coax network extender-PoE Inserter system is another IP Video Transmission Solution from NITEK. The System transmits IP cameras over coax and can quickly turn any ordinary RG59U coaxial cable into a high speed network communication & PoE path. When operating over RG59U coaxial cable, the coax network extender system can operate for distances of up to 500 meters (1,640 feet). The EL1500C coax ethernet extender system consists of a transmitter and a receiver set, which requires very little installation time & absolutely no set up or configuration. The The EL1500C ethernet over coax network extender transmitter and receiver are transparent to the network and have no IP or MAC addressing. Simply connect network devices to the network ports of the transmitter and receiver along with existing cabling and the system begins communicating. LED indicators show the status of network communication and PoE power. When connected to a PoE switch, power from the switch is used as the power source for the connected EL1500C receiver. In applications where network switches are not PoE capable, an optional power source (PS48 sold separately) can be used to insert power to the EL1500C receiver. The power is sent from the receiver over the coax to the transmitter. The transmitter uses PoE as its power source and powers the connected PoE network device as well. The EL1500 coax network extender system extends network communications to overcome cable distance limitations offering connections to devices in locations traditional networking does not allow.

hi guys my name is hattie i am the product development manager for ic real time now one of the most difficult things as an installer to deal with is dealing with a client that has an old system already installed in their house or their building the reason is because a lot of times they have the old coax system wired up you can have problems with either financially because they can't go rip out all the cables and pay for all new cables to be ran to upgrade to an ip system or just some other environmental issues that wouldn't allow you to run actual network cables through so instead of having to worry about ripping out the coax cables now you have these new adapters each one's labeled one size says poem the other side says poe out you plug the poe out side on the side where the camera would be going then you plug in your network cable and your network cable goes to your camera on the othe
