[Music] hello i'm scott flowers with cloud ninjas and today we're here to talk about dell precision t-3630 workstation memory upgrades and how to properly configure the system for starters the dell precision t3630 workstation takes intel e 2100 series cpus or intel core i3 i5 or i7 series cpus there's one cpu socket and it is an 11 foot lga 1151 socket as far as the ram is concerned it takes ddr4 memory there's four dimmed slots and you can use two types of memory ec cm buffered which is more of a server module or you can use non-eccn buffered which is more of a desktop module and yes both of them will fit and work you cannot mix them together you have to use one or the other as far as the the maxes are actually the exact same for both of them you can do 128 gigabytes for 32 gigs at 2666 megahertz uh and as far as actual different speeds you can use you can go to as low as uh 2133 21 24
