Description

This 009 Style distributor with Electronic Igntion(009E) is the perfect replacement for most aircooled VW engines. It is a centrifugal advance distributor, meaning it has no vacuum advance. Mechanical advance distributor comes complete with cap- rotor- points- and condenser. The timing advances based on RPM ONLY, without any vacuum sensing, which is a good choice for carburetors that do not have SVDA Ported Vacuum Ports, or for cars that rarely see part throttle. These are great for cars that idle and full throttle!

1. This distributor eliminates finicky ignition points in your vehicle and instead uses a magnetically triggered hall effect sending unit to distribute spark to each of your cylinders smoothly and precisely.
2. This distributor is a maintenance free unit that eliminates your points in favor of a hall-effect pick up which uses magnets instead of mechanical action to initiate spark in your engine.
3. The distributor is a direct bolt on for VW Type 1 Engines and is great when paired with a set of dual carburetors.
