Why bother with Printing making, why not just Paint?
Think about all the time and effort you put into a painting. Then the joy is selling or giving out it. Trouble is, when it gone, it is gone.
And you have to start all over again with the next work. Even if going to store, it will cost you energy and money to keep it for a long time but not all lifetime.
Print is different. You just need to carve your design on the linoleum block, as an original artwork, whether it's simple lines or a complete painting.
The lino is then inked; a piece of paper placed over it, and then run through a printing press or pressure applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper. The result is a linocut print. By this way, you can share your artwork over and over again with minimum effort. Like when writing a song, the artist sells a recording, not the tune itself.
Using steps
1. Drawing the wordart/pattern by pencil on paper or trace the printed wordart/pattern over with pencil
2. Turning over your drawing and line it up with our carving block
3. Start coloring the opposite side with pencil to transfer your drawing
4. Mending the lines with pencil on our carving block
5. Start carving with graver
Note: the carbon paper can not transfer your drawing on carving block.
