this is the Sobrante audio stereo adapter it's USB 2.0 plug-and-play works on both PC and Mac the overall length is one and a half inches the body is one inch by one inch and it has a green headphone input and a red microphone input okay I made a noise but nothing popped up let's see if it works okay I just plugged in some headphones okay the headphones work and it's identified as speaker's USB and speaker properties it's listed as a generic USB audio device now I'm going to test this microphone and in Adobe Audition it shows up as microphone USB audio device okay the microphone works I have the headset and the microphone both plugged in and it recorded the track so you can use a microphone and headset at the same time and this is probably the real reason I bought it I use this patch cable and it's just a cord goes from microphone to headphone and I can record sound effects straight off
