everybody I wanted to make a quick video today and talk about antennas and connectors for the Chinese made Val Fang and Wu Shan handheld ham radios and typically the Chinese made radios they have the male SMA connector on the radio itself which is kind of reversed for the more higher-end Yaesu Ikon radios and also valve Fang uv5 R this is the stock antenna it's about five inches long and it's kind of stiff I have not heard any great things about these but you know these stock antennas they do work fine but a lot of users purchase other antennas that do work a little better and I have a couple of examples here here's a Nagoya in a 701 dual band and it's about eight inches in length so it's a little longer than the stock so you will get a little better performance there's a little more gain and also here is a recheck RHA 771 this is a longer one it's about 14 inches so you will get more r
