so there's multiple ways to power your telescope you could either plug and a cord and do it and run into a cigarette lighter input or you could run it to an outlet or as I like prefer to do just get your power from a little brick sized batteries this power bait that seems to really do the trick for me it's convenient it's got a short cord you can just lay the battery right on top of that and you're good to go this little bad or not that I bought I want the power the telescope burr for quite a few hours he just turned on the switch here see the new light and your your telescope is good to go the only drawback you even know what lasts hours the only drawback is that there's no gauge on this battery so you're never quite sure how much power is actually left I know it's lasted so far at least three and a half hours I've never tested it how far it will really go but when you want to use this
