hi everyone this is lawrence for waystowatch.com and this is my review of the Sony BDP es 6700 blu-ray player with this device Sony is on cruise control offering incremental changes but nothing that will blow your socks off when it comes to connections Sony keeps it basic with one HDMI port a digital audio output and Ethernet connection Wi-Fi and a USB port on the front the body of the BD PS 6700 is all-black with the mix of plastic and metal there's nothing special here Sony has not deviated from its user interface the layout of icons is simple and easy to navigate you can modify your home screen simply by adding the apps you want to use the included remote is also the exact same remote model that comes with all other Sony blu-ray players you'd think that Sony would have figured out how to simplify the design considering that most of us only use the playback buttons and the navigation
