Description
This is a simple to use light sensor ( TEMP6000 ) that outputs an analog value from 0 to 5V. With exposure to daylight, this sensor will output 5V. Covering the sensor will result in an output of 0V. In a normal indoor lighting situation, the sensor will output from 1 to 2V.

hi this is Angela and today we're gonna take a look at the lilypad light sensor the lilypad light sensor is an analog sensor you can combine with your e-texts aisles and syllable electronics project the lilypad light sensor can be purchased as a standalone board or on a pre-wired board such as the Lille mini proto snap for the lilypad pro snap cloth to use the lilypad light sensor you'll need to connect it to a lilypad arduino or other microcontroller to read the sensor values and use them in some code the board has three so tabs power ground and signal next each tab is a label on the top and the bottom of the board for reference the signal tab should be connected to an analog tab marked with an A on a lilypad arduino connect with alligator clips while prototyping your project for conductive thread stitching when integrating into your final project the light sensor outputs variable volt
