This grip also comes with a swing latch to help hold cable in the jaw. All Klein grips are manufactured from custom drop-forged steel that is machined and heat treated for excellent durability. Each grip is individually hand inspected and actuated for proper function. Grips are also rigorously tested and pulled to rated load to ensure the highest quality and reliability. 8,000-pound (3.629 kg) Maximum Safe Load. .28-Inch - .75-Inch (7.11 mm – 19.05 mm) minimum and maximum cable diameter. Recommended for messenger, guy strand, and wire rope.
