Icom MB-62 Mobile mounting Bracket for IC7000/AT180

all right hi uh in this video we're going to show you how to attach your ic 706 your ic 7000 ic 7100 ic 2820 ic880 to alito mount and our new attachment which is the 82 will attach to all of those those mounts that come from icom the way we attach to the mount this is a mb63 which goes on the 706 and you'll notice it has a hole in the center and that hole is threaded and we'll accept a one-quarter inch stud thread so as you can see on the end of our 82 we have a one quarter inch thread so all we do is we take and screw the 82 into the mb63 and now we can attach this portion to all of our mounts this is a two dual tab female slot connection the way this part attaches to the icom is i have a very old 706 here but it just slides into the back of the ic 706 like so and when you get your location you can quickly release it take your 706 out and put it in the dashbox so nobody can see it i ha
