Isolation Transformer, 12 VA, 1 x 115V, 2 x 12V, 500 mA

[Music] ok I want to talk about isolation transformers here and why not all isolation transformers are equal talk about my crude drawings here but trying to illustrate the point here and I've got a couple of different schematics here so this represents your utility transformer your primary circuit you've got a ground and there's a ground at every pole here's your utility transformer and typically to do is I'll have your primary will be connected to the primary winding of the transformer the other side of that primary winding is connected to the neutral which is also connected to earth and then you've got your secondary windings your your neutral and your 2 line 1 and line 2 that's connected to your your house now your house also has its own independent ground on it but the remember that the neutral is tied to ground at the utility pole as we can see on this schematic here so this more r
