Shot bags are used to rough shape (stretch) metal with a forming mallet or hammer. JEGS shot bags are made from .070-.090" thick top grain cow hide for extended life and to produce a blemish free metal surface. The outside is suede on the forming surface and the inner surface is tanned to resist wear from the media. 12" diameter and 1-1/2" to 2" thick when filled with buckshot (aggressive forming), or sand (firmer). Fill media is not included, but can be purchased at most sporting goods stores, hardware stores, or lumber yards. Filling instructions included.
