Description
Whether you're shooting digitally or on film, Fotodiox offers the world's largest selection of lens adapters. Mix camera/lens platforms or reinvigorate vintage glass; Fotodiox has hundreds of ways to mount lenses onto your DSLR or SLR camera. Our adapters deliver infinity focus, manual aperture control, and a sturdy build for lasting quality.
Take advantage of our engineering with the 1.4x optic glass that is used to make up the focal flange distance difference between the lens and camera (distance between the lens flange and film/sensor plane). This corrective lens in our adapter allows an older lens to properly focus to infinity on the newer camera body*.
Compatible Cameras Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) Mount SLR Cameras - Popular models include: 1d/1ds, Mark II, III, IV, X, C, 5D, 5D Mark II/III, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 60Da Rebel xt, xti, xs, xsi, t1i, T2i, T3, T3i, T4, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 550D, 1000D
Note:
*In some cases the built-in optic may degrade the image quality because you are adding an element never designed for that particular lens; as a result, this can cause soft focus, chromatic aberration, image artifacts, etc. Use the lenses “sweet spot” to minimize these issues (Sweet Spot: Aperture value on lens that provides the sharpest image).
This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode.
If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default.

Product review & video
[Music] what's up guys my name is Mark and today I want to show you a new lens adapter I got that allows me to mount my older Canon FD lenses to my modern Canon cameras so I've picked up the fotodiox pro adapter but some of you may know I love shooting with vintage glass all of my shooting up until this point has been done on my mirrorless sony a7s 2 camera but I wanted something to mount onto my Canon c100 as well as my DSLR Canon 60 mark 2 so inside the box is a set of instructions and the lens adapter itself it's nice that it has this lens cap and hood to protect the glass inside now I've got a bunch of other fotodiox adapters for my sony camera but this one has some cool features that the others don't now the build quality is actually pretty impressive with precision all metal construction and chrome-plated brass mounts for a secure fit now before mounting this lens be sure to place
