hi Chuck Holly from West marine we're here in the Johnson Pump booth talking to Greg partes about their wide range of high quality bilge pumps hey Greg what makes a Johnson pump a better bilge pump well you know Chuck one of the things that we've tried to strive at Johnson pump is to create a modular type of system for the boater to make a bilge pump experience much easier to maintain install and a service when it's on the boat one of the things that we've done is we've created a simplistic singular pump body with a common motor cartridge what that allows us to do from a manufacturing standpoint is we can now customize this pump to put a bilge basket on the bottom to create a bilge pump we can put an aerator bottom for a straight aerator a 90 degree or a twin port but the great thing for the customer is the basic functionality of the pump body doesn't change it comes with thread on dura
