Description
The RL 2000 is a traditional-style flash bracket for those who prefer brackets with grips. Very compact and lightweight, it's intended for use with cameras that have standard cable-release fittings; a cable-release is included. This is Tiffin's most compact, side-grip style Rotary-Link bracket. This bracket allows you to rotate your camera instantly and effortlessly from vertical to horizontal with a flick of the wrist. In either position, the flash remains centered over the lens for optimum lighting quality. The three-position flash tilt selection gives precision adjustment for lighting all subjects evenly, particularly in close-ups. Dual American walnut grips feature a palm grip that helps you balance and support the bracket in your hand, while leaving your fingers free for fast focusing. The contoured side grip can be adjusted to any of four positions for maximum comfort. A cable release (supplied) attaches to the side grip. It can be adjusted to rest comfortably under your finger. The flash arm can be removed without tools, making the bracket more compact for storage in a camera bag. The bracket base also accepts small battery packs, such as the Quantum Battery 1. An optional Low Platform (Cat. No. 300-331) is required for use with cameras with larger accessory motor drives or battery packs such as Nikon MB-21 or Canon BP-E1, this replaces standard camera platform. This bracket accepts all Stroboframe flash mounts, Camera Anti-Twist Plates and Quick-Release accessories. Net Weight: 19 oz.; Bracket Height: 9.75"; Nominal Lens-to-Flash Distance: 10.5"; Includes: 1/4"-20 camera mounting knobs for camera and flash, cork base pad, cable release. Suggested Accessories: Camera Anti-Twist Plates, Flash Mounts, Camera and Flash Quick-Releases.

Product review & video
hey there I'm Nick along with Nikolai from kinetic camera this is raw reviews where we take a unedited look at some of our favorite accessories today we are taking a look at the stroller frame quick flip flash bracket oh man going old-school that's right it's an old-school accessory but still useful in today's day and age so nikolai what exactly do we use a flash bracket for well what a flash bracket basically does is it's going to take your external flash and it's gonna lift it a little bit higher away from the lens that way it's going to eliminate redeye and it's going to reduce the the harshness of the flash okay so you won't get as many harsh shadows or those really blown out highlights on people's faces correct you're not going to like a sweaty mess on the picture okay well that's good news for all of us so why don't we give this a try why don't we demonstrate and while you attach
