today I'm installing a peak wireless backup camera system in a 2015 f250 XL or truck with a gas engine I bought this at NAPA it was on sale for $80 with a $20 rebate so $60 net cost camera installation is super simple it just hangs over the top of the license plate and gets root in the same holes with the same screws I removed the taillight to check what color the wires are for the reverse bulb and they are black white and blue white and I found a more convenient place to connect the camera to so I just once I found out the colors of wires I reinstalled the light the taillight lens without attaching the camera wires to it this truck has a factory installed trailer hitch I trace the wire loom from the taillight to this location there's a connector there with the wires that lead to the reverse bulb so I just connected the camera here kit comes with these Scotch locks to tap into the wires
