hey everyone so today i'm going to talk about another soviet camera and today it's going to be the kiev 4a rangefinder camera so make sure you stick around because i'm going to show tons of pictures that i took with it i'm going to tell you my experience and i'm going to go over the features of this very nice contacts clone so stick around so the kiev4 was created in soviet union ukraine and it was basically a copy of the zeiss icon contacts camera at the time and i personally like to call it the contacts clone because after world war ii and the defeat of germany the soviet union seized control of the zeiss icon factory and they took all of the machines and the tools and even some of their workers there and brought them over to the ukraine factory where these kiev cameras were made using those tools using those machines using those personnel and even some spare parts of a contacts camer
