I bought the Canon BG-E2N battery
grip to use with my Canon 50D. I didn't buy it new so it was quite cheap. So this is what you get with the BG-E2N. You get the grip and a battery
holder for AA batteries (BGM-E2). and that's just a bit of protection
for the connectors there. So this is my Canon 50D and I'm
going to take out the battery. and then you have to disconnect this lid
before you can put the battery grip in. So if you have it at an angle then
you can just pull it out quite easily. and then what you do afterwards,
is you get the grip... let me just get rid of this piece here. You should be able to put it into this
position. Oh I'm doing this wrong... Yeah there you go. So put this
into this position and then insert the battery grip in here and then you screw it on
until the connection is tight. OK, I feel it's tight enough. It adds quite a bit of weight
and heigh
