On the input side of the SDI-PPC, you'll find two 1/4" TS jacks. These are suitable for instruments such as electric guitars, basses, and keyboards. If you're using only one of the 1/4" inputs, the other can function as a parallel output, allowing you to send the copy of the signal to an amplifier. This usage lets you split a guitar signal during recording, so you have the amped track in addition to a clean, DI'ed take to use during the mixing stage. A 3.5mm input is on hand for playing backing tracks from smartphones, tablets, and other compatible media players. Rounding out the input section are two RCA jacks for turntables, A/V connections, computer soundcards, and more. Two XLR connectors are provided for outputs.
