okay so this is a an olympus digital voice recorder to turn it on you pretty much hit any button it has this slider on the side which is used to turn on cold whenever hold is on buttons on the front have no use besides displaying the date and the time whenever it's off cold pressing record will start recording pressing stop will stop a recording pressing play will play the most recent recording this button and this button are both used to change the volume this one accesses where the most recent files are and you can swap between files erase is used to erase the most recent file and display menu displays this generic menu it also is it you got a port on the side and speaker microphone spot for earpiece and microphone peace and battery compartment okay so take the two take this apart first we're gonna take off the battery compartment and pull out the batteries next there are three screws
