[Music] welcome everyone to another review today we're taking a look at the Samsung 970 which has been out for a little while now but we've already used it in a ton of our builds and we are certainly noticing the performance improvement you'll be able to take a look at our results where we put it directly up against the same version previous generation and we get a lot of opportunity to test components like this with all of the systems that we build so today we're going to be testing in a very high-end system with the rampage 6 extreme but just to go over some of the new specifications here so we're looking at the pro version the 512 gig we have the new Samsung Phoenix controller 64 layer v-nand being the pro it has two bit mlc we have nbme 1.3 so the main things here as you would expect performance improvements up to 30 percent according to Samsung and yes we definitely are seeing some
