2009 17-inch MacBook Pro left and right fan replacement start off by shutting down and flipping over your MacBook remove the cover that's fastened with 10 Phillips head screws remove the seven Phillips head screws that are short first starting in the top left and going around the contour of the mag bolt now the three long Phillips head screws lift and remove the cover begin by disconnecting the battery first left and right fan removal unscrew the three thugs head screws that are fastening the fan to the logic board can leave them in place lift up the fan and disconnect it from the logic board leaving them in place will make it easier to transfer them from that other fan go ahead and unscrew the three folks head screws for the right fan lift it up this particular fan doesn't want to come out so go ahead and remove the screw out of the fan left it up disconnected from the logic board shou
